Inman Aligner
What is the Inman Aligner?
The Inman Aligner is an innovative treatment, which produces incredible results in a short period of time. The aligner consists of a coiled spring that is placed at the back of the teeth, and a discreet metal bar that sits at the front of the teeth. The combined component parts generate forces, which gradually force the teeth into the desired position.
The Inman Aligner is an incredibly effective treatment for patients who have minor orthodontic problems with their front teeth. The forces are focused on the front teeth so the treatment is not suitable for those who have problems with their back teeth.
How does the Inman Aligner work?
The Inman Aligner at Galston Dental Practice works by generating forces to move the teeth into the desired alignment. The device is focused on the front teeth and can move the teeth quickly, without any pain.

Stages of treatment
Treatment for the Inman aligner at Galston Dental Practice involves the following stages:
Stage one
During the initial consultation here at Galston Dental Practice, the dentist will discuss the details of the treatment with the patient and examine the patient’s mouth to check that they are a suitable candidate for treatment using the Inman Aligner.
Stage two
If the patient decides to proceed, impression moulds of the teeth will be taken. From the impressions we can determine how your teeth are likely to move during the course of treatment. These moulds will then be used as a guide for the technicians as the aligner will be custom made to match the specific measurements of the patient’s mouth.
Stage three
Once the aligner has been manufactured, it will be returned to the dentist. They will check the fit of the aligners and the patient will start their treatment.
